Afghanistan: Thousands gather outside Kabul airport

 Thousands of people have gathered outside Kabul airport, scrambling to get on flights.

The UK Ambassador to Afghanistan has said they hope to scale up the evacuation to at least 1,000 people a day. 

But many are being turned away.
